Hello Everyone,
I'm writing to tell you about and ask for prayer for our missions trip to Gabbs, NV.
Gabbs is a small mining about 150 miles southeast of Reno, has a population of 269 with 70 kids in the K-12 school.
The Gabbs Community Church averages about 10-15 people on a Sunday morning, has 1 girl in children's church and has a circuit pastor who lives about a two and a half hour drive away.
We will be partnering with Parkside Bible Fellowship from Fallon, NV. To do a short Vacation Bible School and community outreach.
Our goals for this trip will be to share the gospel with the children their; many of whom have never heard about the love of Jesus, build relationships with both the children and families of Gabbs and to encourage the church in their ministry to the community with the ultimate aim of helping them start an Awana club in Gabbs.
Please be in prayer for both the children of Gabbs that God will prepare their hearts to hear our message and to the teenagers from Parkside that God will use them as He wishes to bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
